The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona like many other nonprofits has felt the impact of the recent recession and attendant drop in the stock market. After several years of stellar growth, CFSA saw a thirty-two percent decline in our assets in 2008-09 - at the very time when our grantmaking was most needed by the community.
While the market has recovered somewhat, we are still below previous fund value levels. In spring 2010 the CFSA Board of Trustees approved a change in investment managers from SEI Investments to Wurts & Associates. The Board of Trustees is also updating our investment policies and strategies to reposition us for growth in this new economic and financial environment - and well into the future.
The following represents SEI investment performance for 2008 - 2010.
Performance for quarter ending March 2010
Performance for quarter ending September, 2009
Performance for quarter ending June 30, 2009
Performance for quarter ending March 31, 2009
Performance for quarter ending December 31, 2008
Performance for quarter ending September 30, 2008
