Every community has its own unique set of needs and opportunities but local foundations often affiliate or partner with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona so they can benefit from CFSA's investment, marketing, communications and administrative services. That way they have more time to address the pressing needs in their communities.

Santa Cruz Community Foundation is an affiliate foundation of CFSA and is led by staff and a Board of Directors made up of leaders from Santa Cruz County. Santa Cruz County includes cities along the U.S./Mexico border region such as Nogales, Tubac, Rio Rico and Patagonia. SCCF provides community leadership, makes grants, offers awards and scholarships and works to raise awareness of ways to improve the quality of life the border region.

Oro Valley Community Foundation is a partner foundation of CFSA. It has its own 501(c)(3) status and is led by an independent Board of Directors. As a partner, OVCF is able to develop its own unique grant making policies, work with local donors to start new funds and make grants and scholarships to the benefit of their community, all while benefiting from the expertise and support services at CFSA.

Stone Canyon Community Foundation is a donor advised fund held at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona. It is supported by the residents of Stone Canyon and members of the Stone Canyon Club. The foundation assists local charitable organizations that help young people, with special emphasis on early childhood education, successful high school graduation and the development of life skills.
