History
In 1993, the National Lesbian and Gay Community Funding Partnership was founded to promote fairness in community funding and to establish LGBT projects nationwide. After discussions about the project’s chance of success in Tucson, CFSA was selected as a site. It was given a $100K challenge fund to establish the Alliance Fund.
