Economic Relief and Stability Fund

The CFSA Economic Relief and Stability Fund was started in December 2008 through the generosity of some key donors and with approval from our Board of Trustees to dedicate its 2009 discretionary funds to help alleviate some of the stresses due to the 2008 economic downturn in our community.

100% of the $442,000 funds contributed to the ERSF were granted to local nonprofits through the CFSA Community Investment grants.  We were able to provide relief to the most vulnerable in our community - through the nonprofits that serve them.  See the 2009 Community Investment Grant recipients.

In conjunction with the ERSF, CFSA commissioned surveys of local nonprofits and  donors. The donor random sample included 400 southern Arizona residents who had donated to charity in the last 12 months.

We believe this information is not only helpful to us but for other local nonprofits and donors. Feel free to read the highlights
on the research findings.

Thank you...

To all of the generous donors who contributed to the Economic Relief and Stability Fund.
