Making a difference together...

The Ryan White Program provides federal funding for HIV/AIDS services. Historically, Pima County has received just over $2 million to provide medical care and support for services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
The Pima County HIV/AIDS Consortium is responsible for the administration of services funded by Ryan White Part B. The annual allocation of funds is guided by a community needs assessment process and by recommendations from an independent advisory committee made up of people living with HIV/AIDS, community members and service providers. Pima County Consortium meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:30 to 5 pm at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, 2250 E. Broadway Boulevard.
Programs and agencies receiving Ryan White Part B funds in Pima County collaborate with one another to offer a continuum of essential services to people living with HIV and AIDS, such as primary medical care, case management, medications assistance, mental health services, oral health care, health insurance premium and cost-sharing assistance and substance abuse treatment. Primary care services are available to people who are living with HIV/AIDS and uninsured or underinsured.
There are many more services available in Pima County for people living with HIV/AIDS, and the information collected here helps plan and respond to service needs in our area for all people living with HIV/AIDS. Feel free to contact the Consortium office for a complete directory of available resources, or if you have any questions.
Grants
Grant opportunities for nonprofits that address the needs of people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS are typically available each year. In 2010 we are extending our current service provider contracts through September.
