The Santa Cruz Community Foundation supports a broad array of charitable purposes

We consider proposals from tax-exempt nonprofits as well as grassroots organizations that have a charitable purpose and are based in southern Arizona. Priority is given to proposals that promote collaboration and build on the strengths of individuals and communities. In 2008-2009, we granted $47,000 to 14 organizations in Santa Cruz County, AZ and Nogales, Sonora.
Funds are generally not available for endowment building, capital campaigns, debt retirement, research, individuals and underwriting fundraising events.
Scholarship Program
Through the generosity of our donors, we offer a wide variety of scholarship opportunities to students seeking higher education. Our relationships with schools ensures that qualified students apply. Letters from recipients reinforce the fact that scholarships really can make a difference in the lives of young people.
