The Santa Cruz Community Foundation supports a broad array of charitable purposes -

We consider proposals from tax-exempt nonprofits as well as grassroots organizations that have a charitable purpose and are based in southern Arizona. Priority is given to proposals that promote collaboration and build on the strengths of individuals and communities. In 2008-2009, we granted $47,000 to 14 organizations in Santa Cruz County, AZ and Nogales, Sonora.
Funds are generally not available for -
- Endowment building
- Capital campaigns
- Debt retirement
- Research
- Individuals
- Underwriting fundraising events
Scholarship Program
Through the generosity of our donors, we offer a wide variety of scholarship opportunities to students seeking higher education. Our relationships with schools ensures that qualified students apply. Letters from recipients reinforce the fact that scholarships really can make a difference in the lives of young people.
