Non-Profit Economic Viability Summit - Tuesday, January 27, 2009

Green Valley News--Foundation helps non-profits on both sides of the border. That’s one reason the Santa Cruz Community Foundation, headquartered on the U.S. side, partners with a sister organization in Sonora, FESAC (Fundación del Empresariado Sonorense), to help fund about 30 non-profit organizations on both sides of the border. They range from groups that promote art education in schools, to literacy centers, to volunteer-run soup kitchens for migrants who have been deported back to Mexico and are left alone and lost in a strange city. >>more
