The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona's mission is to inspire and support donors making a difference now and forever.

CFSA's Position on HB 2675
As a significant provider of scholarship awards, the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona is strongly opposed to HB 2675 and to any legislation that would hinder or effectively deny any student in Arizona access to a college education, especially those from low and moderate income families who have properly demonstrated financial need.

We will work tirelessly to inform the public of any effort targeted to curtail the freedom of donors to support causes of their choice and to provide an opportunity for working or low income families to attend college and participate in our collective future economic prosperity.  - J. Clinton Mabie, President/CEO

Southern Arizona Indicators Project - Help Determine the Future of Southern Arizona
The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona and United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona have partnered on an initiative—The Southern Arizona Indicators Project—to help shape the approach to community problem-solving for Southern Arizona’s most critical challenges. The Project will become an important data source to identify community needs and proven strategies that address those needs in the region.

The Project seeks input from community stakeholders interested in sustaining Southern Arizona’s long-term health and quality of life.  The survey takes a few minutes to complete. The survey is available in English and in Spanish.  Hard copies are also available by calling Doreen Hunnicutt at (520) 770-0800. The data from the project will be posted in March. Read More
