Community Foundation for Southern Arizona

Nonprofit Resources

The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona believes that we are strengthened by our relationships, partnerships and collaborations. Nonprofits likely know us best for our grant making opportunities but we can help nonprofits with so much more.

Technical Assistance

CFSA is partnering with the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits and Cox Communications to offer technical assistance to the 21 grant recipients of a 2009 Community Investment grant and the 156 organizations that completed online applications. This program will identify capacity building opportunities for all nonprofits in southern Arizona.

Alliance will provide the 2009 grantees coaching on strategic planning, board development, evaluation, online networking and resource sharing.

Cox Communications will offer workshops for grantees on writing effective PSAs and marketing their nonprofit to potential donors. They will also provide PSA production and in-kind spots on its local network.

Useful Resources

The Arizona Grantmakers Forum is for grant makers and grant seekers. Grant makers have access to regional information that provides educational resources, research and networking opportunities. Grant seekers get access to valuable online news, blogs, reports, data, links and other social media resources.

Let us know the good work your organization is doing in southern Arizona. We can then share our knowledge with CFSA donors while we work with them on the causes they're passionate about.

We will launch a new service on our Web site during summer 2010. Qualified nonprofits will be asked to submit a new profile for this service.  If you are not already in our database, please register
online so we can contact you when the service is ready.

Then our donors will be able to research your nonprofit and recommend grants.
