Establishing an Endowment

Nonprofit organizations look to the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona to create endowments to benefit their operations long term.  Endowments are invested over time, with earnings available to reinvest or support emergent needs as they arise.  This constant source of funding is an attractive option for both new and established organizations that want to sustain their mission for the future.

When nonprofit organizations work through the Foundation to achieve their charitable goals, they benefit from expertise of experienced staff and the Foundation’s investment and fund management, allowing their staff to focus on providing direct service.
